Where do you find the Move Tutor? ›

There are two Move Tutors in Sinnoh—one on Route 228 and one on Route 210. The Move Tutor on Route 210 teaches Draco Meteor to a Dragon-type Pokémon which has had its friendship maximized.

Celadon City Move Tutor

Found again in the Poke Center in Celadon City, this Move Tutor can teach your Pikachu Floaty Fall, a Flying-type move that can make the target flinch. Alternatively, they can teach your Eevee Baddy Bad, a Dark move, or Glitzy Glow, a Psychic move, both of which have 90 attack power.

FireRed and LeafGreen bring back an old method of teaching your Pokémon moves - the Move Tutor. These are special individuals on the overworld who will allow certain Pokémon to learn certain moves otherwise unobtainable in their level-up or TM movesets - only once, though, so think hard about who learns what.

The first tutor you'll meet is in Driftveil City In this house, you will find a man who will offer to teach these moves to your Pokémon. The only Pokémon that can learn these moves are the starters from each region. Cat.

Located on the right hand part of Mauville City's shopping is a move tutor.

Move tutors can spawn naturally in the following biomes: Plains (Category), Ice Plains and Mountainous. They can also be created and edited using an NPC editor.

Go to Lavender Town in the south, then head west on Route 8. Enter the building north of the Saffron City gates and train on Route 7 to get to Celadon City. Check out the Department Store in Celadon City, and visit the mansion to open Saffron City. Beat Erika at the City Gym and beat Team Rocket to get the Silph Scope.

Below Lass Lina, you'll find two trees, Chop Down the easternmost one and follow the path until you come to two more trees, where this time you'll cut the westernmost one. Continue to follow the path until you finally reach the Gym Leader of Celadon City Gym, Erika.

The move deleter is a NPC (non player character) who is able to delete any move of a pokemon. This is extremely useful as it is the only way to forget any HM. The move deleter can be found in Fuchsia City, in the house between the PokeCenter and Gym.

You weren't able to select your gender until Ruby and Sapphire (Or Crystal, technically). They changed this in the remakes, but the remakes aren't what they use as canon installments.

Is mega kick or mega punch better? ›

In order to reach Saffron City, you must first go to Celadon City. In the building called the Celadon Mansion, the manager on the first floor, when you speak to them, will give you Tea. When acquired, talk to the guards at the entrance to Saffron City, and they'll let you pass when you give them the tea.

This booth is also located in the Hau'oli City Mall on Melemele Island. The trainer to the left of Mr. Hyper's booth will teach these moves to any fully evolved Starter Pokemon from any region.

In Laverre City, in the house east of the gym, you will find a gentleman who will teach the moves, Grass Pledge, Fire Pledge or Water Pledge to compatible Pokemon.

Move Tutors are important NPCs that teach your Pokémon special moves or moves they previously knew but forget. Pokémon Sword and Shield puts the basic Move Tutor (for remembering forgotten moves) in every Pokémon Center, but there are still a handful of special Move Tutors out there in the Galar region.

The Driftveil Chateau Hotel can be found to the left of the Pokemon Center, just across the road. Talk to a man inside the lobby. This man is actually a Move Tutor.

The Virtual Move Tutor is unlocked upon beating the Third Gym and obtaining the Sugar Badge. After doing so, talk to Paolo, a scientist standing at the right of any Pokémon Centre, and it will be unlocked the next time you access a PC. You can access the Virtual Move Tutor at any PC or Porygon PC.
